Job Summary
Position requires a team player with experience on multiple process systems, not limited to but including the following: Auto Bond Machines, Dipping System, Control Room Operation, Automation Machine Assemblies (e.g. 40MM), Blades/Trimmer Set-ups, Fabrication of Cliché, Felting/Molding Operations, Finishing Operation, Packing Requirements, Printer Set-ups, after-burners (RCO/RTO), Oven Systems, Curing System, Chiller Operation, Environmental and Safety Requirements. Employee must have knowledge to prepare, adjust, and maintain resin integrity. Control room operator must have knowledge to identify and correct minor problems with the dipping system, and to assists maintenance and other personnel troubleshoot major problems with the system. High degree of experience is required to fill this position as well as proven ability to pass a dipping written test.

Primary Responsibilities
- Must be able to monitor all control panels for process equipment, not limited but including the following: after-burners (RCO/RTO), ovens, impregnation curing oven, resin transfers system, auto bonding, conveyor, process equipment, trimmers, and printers.
- Must be able to prepare required mixtures and adjust to maintain to specifications for multiple processes.
- Will maintain all equipment within safety operating parameters.
- Will apply SPC tools to maintain process controls, perform adjustments to meet desire specifications, and do correction action.
- Will maintain accurate and detailed logs.
- Must follow lot control requirements.
- Must have the ability to read graphs, charts or data containing process/raw materials information.
- Must have the ability to identify out control points/tolerances.
- Must be able to maintain and preserve process mixtures, make needed adjustments, and able to troubleshoot mixtures system, and supply support systems.
- Must be able to start up, shutdown, and troubleshoot process equipment systems.
- Assists in cross-training other employees.
- Will assist in identifying and correcting upset conditions.
- Follows MSPI’s, MSDS, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Will coordinate cleaning and repairs of supporting process items, tooling, and equipment.
- Must be flexible to production, maintenance, and equipment needs.
- Requires lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Will operate a power-washer for various types of cleaning.
- Must have the ability to operate Scientific calculator and computer.
- Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above.
- Understand and live by Armtec’s ethics and business conduct policies.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have knowledge of all control panels, apparatus and proper response to signals
- Must have proficient knowledge and skills in all or most areas in various Production Programs.
- Must have proficient knowledge and skills in felting and molding set-ups, trimmers/lathes set ups, printers, spray booths, ovens, and cliché set-ups.
- Ability to comprehend written MSPI instructions in English
- Must have math skills that apply to work station
- Must perform SPC applications
- Must be able to operate a forklift, power washer, and be confined space trained as needed for the job.
- Must be dependable, responsible, and accurate and have the ability to deal with people effectively.
- Must be flexible to work various work schedules and shifts.

- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
