Engineering and Technical Execution
- Applies electromechanical engineering fundamentals to solve complex manufacturing and tooling challenges.
- Designs, evaluates, and improves equipment, tooling, and production processes to increase efficiency, reliability, and safety.
- Uses modeling, prototyping, and testing to reduce technical risk and validate solutions.
- Troubleshoots production and equipment issues using structured, data-driven methods.
Project and Capital Management
- Leads engineering projects from concept through installation and handoff, meeting scope, cost, and schedule commitments.
- Develops cost estimates, capital expenditure requests, and return-on-investment justifications.
- Plans and coordinates project schedules, resources, and deliverables using standard project management tools.
- Oversees equipment fabrication, installation, SAT/FAT, and startup activities
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partners with Program Management, R&D, Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and suppliers to deliver aligned engineering solutions.
- Supports customer and supplier technical interfaces as required.
Process Improvement and Governance
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives that reduce cost, improve quality, and minimize human error.
- Ensures compliance with applicable standards, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.
Professional Leadership
- Exercises sound judgment and accountability while operating effectively with minimal supervision.
- Provides technical guidance and mentoring to peers and junior engineers.
- Upholds Armtec’s ethics, values, and business conduct standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Typically 8+ years of relevant engineering experience in manufacturing or capital project environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorization from the U.S. Government.
