Job Summary
Responsible for performing audits on products and systems.  Establishes and implements an effective Corrective Action System.  Follow-ups to assure timely and appropriate responses to Corrective Action Requests.  Audits the effectiveness of corrective actions to assure non recurrence of the original deficiencies.  Lead and manage audit efforts, both internal and external, ensuring they are completed accurately and efficiently.  Responsible for planning the audit scope. Objectives and methodology. 

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop annual audit schedule, make updates as needed and publish the schedule for Senior Leadership
  • Establish and develop a method of evaluation to be utilized when performing audits.
  • Perform audits, to the established format, in accordance with the Annual Audit Schedule.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports which describes the conditions found and identified the requirements that were not met Reports are written accurately to help guide management decision making.
  • Notify responsible parties in advance of scheduled audits and plan accordingly to conduct audit in a timely manner with minimal interruptions
  • Coordinate the audit activities with all individuals involved in the audit.
  • Prepare management reports which describe the status of activities regarding DCMC Quality Deficiency Reports.
  • Issue Corrective Action Reports on deficiencies found during the performance of audits.  Monitor answers to Corrective Action Reports for adequacy. 
  • Follow-up or planned activities taken on deficiencies which caused the issuance of a Corrective Action Report. 
  • Issue Quarterly Management Report which reflects the status of the Corrective Action System.
  •  Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above.
  • Understand and live by Armtec’s ethics and business conduct policies.
  • Maintains Quality Metrics related to Internal and External Audit results, Customer Issues and Corrective Actions, as well as primary management of the Risk Register.
  • Clearly understands ISO 9001’s requirements and ensures that audits are in line with keeping the organization in compliance.
  • Provides training and mentorship on corrective action responses and immediate containment methods.
Qualifications
  • MIL-Q-9858, ISO 9000, Word and Basic SPC
  • ASQ Certified as an Internal Auditor
  • Must be dependable, responsible, and accurate and could deal with people effectively.

Education & Professional Work Experience Requirements
  • Preference is a bachelor’s degree in business management or certification in QMS Auditing.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorization from the U.S. Government
