Maintenance Mechanic I, Armtec Defense Technologies

Primary Responsibilities
- Follow all Safety guidelines, rules, regulations as they pertain to the day to day task assigned to the maintenance mechanic trainee.
- Assist in performing preventive maintenance and repairs on production and facilities equipment and machinery.
- Be able to correctly fill out the assigned task work order with all pertinent information, hours worked and parts used if applicable in a timely manner.
- Follow instructions in both written and verbal.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
- Maintain and clean work area, free of safety or environmental hazards.
- Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above.
- Understand and live by Armtec’s ethics and business conduct policies.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic use of hand tools
- Basic maintenance skills.
- Read and write in English.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be dependable, responsible, and accurate and have the ability to deal with people effectively.
- Demonstrate ability in the Armtec competencies as an employee: customer focus, ethics and values, problem solving, integrity and trust, functional/technical skills, listening, action-oriented, composure and values diversity.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorization from the U.S. Government.
